Smoothboard 1.6 version (http://www.smoothboard.net) now does not require manual Bluetooth connection but handle automatic connection with the computer through a Bluetooth adaptor using MS Bluetooth Stack.

I thought it was a great conference overall. I managed to watch all the presentations by putting them on while I'm working. I wrote a review of weeks one and two on my blog.

This is great. I recently find swftools that allows you to convert pdf to swf via command line and I have integrate it in my site. If you try you can upload a pdf and download the generated swf file.

ps is free :)

Hi Paul,
Glad you visited! Teacher's TV is a great resource and one I plan to use more of in my future training opportunities.

We really do have to start doing training differently - I like Sylvia Martinez' ( http://blog.genyes.com/ ) take on it, "Hey, if our style of training hasn't worked in the last 30 years - Why do we think, MORE OF IT will be the solution?!!" (I'm sure I've paraphased here).

BTW, I enjoyed reading your post on EWB's (came to it through a Google Alert I have out "technology in the classroom". I like the idea of using the term "Electronic Whiteboards" and letting the teacher decide or strive to make it 'interactive'.

I decided to follow you on Twitter after I read a few of your blog & Twitter postings. As George Siemens ( http://www.connectivism.ca/about.html ) purports, it really is all about the connectivity, eh?

Susan,

Just discovered this site as a result of you following my twitter! Read the first two posts and went wow! I am definitely coming back when I have more time. It is amazing how we can work in the same field half a world away and yet have such similar issues.

I am constantly frustrated by being asked to do seagull training, especially on new technology, with teachers. The good old "make my teachers totally proficient on IWB pedagogy in an hour" style of PD. The Teachers TV http://www.teachers.tv site in the UK goes some way to trying to achieve what you are posting about here but I agree that it is the Raw, messiness that is what we need to see.

Great work!

Thanks for two more leads!

I haven't tried either of those - Can you share how they compare with any of the tools I listed above?
